Ep 3: Red Flags and Warning Signs Sometimes. In the entertainment industry, especially with respect to minors, there are things that just do not seem to be on the up and up, as well as unexpected hurdles such as your child being sick, not wanting to audition, vacations that conflict with bookings, etc. In this episode, we will discuss some of the more obvious red flags, in addition to sharing personal stories to help you spot them on your own, and hopefully make you laugh our loud!
Ep 2: The Nuts & Bolts. This episode dives deeper into the legal “nuts & bolts” needed to anchor your child’s career, such as a Coogan Account, a work permit, etc… as well as how and where to open/obtain them. We also cover the laws in place to protect minors with respect to how many hours they are allowed to work on set, what portion of their on-set day must be dedicated to schoolwork.
