It can lead to:

Today I talk about 3 habits we may mindlessly be doing that erode our mental health or even cause immediate changes to our mood.
Becoming mindful of these and becoming more disciplined can help us regain better control and have a more stable mind and emotions.
The netflix documentary I refer to is called:
Hack Your Health: The Secrets of Your Gut
Highly recommend watching it!

Today I talk about learning to sit with uncomfortable emotions.
Sometimes we just feel a mix of "negative emotions" which makes us feel restless and brings us discomfort.
We can learn to sit through it, ride the wave, and know that it will pass and that IT'S OK to feel this way!

Today we are following on from last week and addressing the content of our words.
We can see that words are a refection of what's going on inside our hearts.
There are words we can use which are foolish and destructive - gossip and slander, lies and deceit, which occurs in many setting even including the church!
Then there are words that build and bring unity and peace to people.
What kind of words are you using?

Our words have power. They are valuable and have meaning.
Our physical bodies are literally affected by the words we are exposed to in our life - by what we speak to ourselves, others, to God and the words spoken to us.
I want to start a conversation about bringing awareness to the weight our words carry and the responsibility we have in using our words wisely.

A terrible event which is changing the course of history, and starting a huge revival around the world.
I wanted to share my personal reflections about this event, and my own experience of how I felt and reacted to the news.
Some things we can take from what happened, and the hope that we have in Jesus despite the darkness in the world.

UGH! Today's episode was so tedious to edit, and I am so tired today and didn't want to do it. And I'm not feeling that great, and I spent wayyy too much money on the weekend.
Joking! hahah
So today I wanted to talk about complaining and how we do it so often and how it's really become a habit and part of our culture.
Sometimes we actually complain to fit in or connect to others around us.
I've definitely noticed this in my own life and just wanted to have a conversation around it.
Hope it brings some insights and gives food for thought.
