Juneteenth/Father's Day activity! Hoping you've been enjoying yourselves in a strategic fashion. We saw record low interest rates, remote job opportunities, PPP loans, mortgage and rent forbearance and other seemingly once-in-a-lifetime events. These programs are not going to be the panacea for life. We got into a lot of core concepts that we see defining what seems to be the "Calm before the Storm". Some people in the US made more money in unemployment than they did working. Some people haven't paid rent or mortgages for a year...tune in today for solutions to get yourself out of these kind of binds or better yet, not land in them in the first place hopefully.

On today's episode we talked about Coaching vs Consulting. We discussed the biggest difference between coaching and consulting. Typically consultant holds the answers, while a coach helps their client find their own answers. Consulting requires that the consultant have expertise in the area that the client seeks to learn and grow. A coach’s role isn’t always to provide the answers. A coaching goal does not need to have specific knowledge or experience in the topic area that the client wishes to improve. The coach instead offers guidance in the changes needed, tips or strategy development, goal attainment, and accountability process, which is effective. We talked about examples as it pertains to both roles from our own life experiences and much more.
