In this episode, we are discussing all things fertility and reproduction. Alyse and I welcome our friends, Amy and Mateo Dietzman, to talk about their first-hand experience with an infertility diagnosis and treatments. Amy candidly discusses the physical and emotional toll it has taken on her, and Mateo reflects on his role as a supportive spouse during the whole process. I talk about a car accident that led to a cancer diagnosis and the surgery that rendered me infertile.. or so I was told...And Alyse chimes in about some of her own experiences. To finish, we touch on the stigma of openly discussing infertility, adoption, abortion, and women's health and rights.
***TRIGGER WARNING*** We want to warn you, we discuss many sensitive topics ranging from infertility, abortion, and miscarriage. If you believe you may become offended or emotionally distressed, this episode may not be for you. We want to be open and transparent and we are pro women's autonomy.
