As long as we keep striving to get or be what others told us or showed us we should be we won't be happy, even if we attain the goals because they really won't be ours. What do you want and what makes your heart sing?

Here we are again in the middle of a mess. But we can decide how we can move ahead and grow in the right direction. We are forced to because of the turmoil of today.

Let us take time to notice the beauty that surrounds us all the time, even in the worst of circumstances. When we can do this, we will realize that that beauty is only an extension of ourselves. Let's do it together.

During the most troubling times we can see clearly what doesn't work and what we need to let go. It is the opportunity for growth and empowerment if we have the right mindset I think many of us do.

What does freedom mean in a consumer driven society, that you have the right to work hard to pursue happiness? Something seems odd about that. How about having happiness and real community and working to attain food instead, or the necessities of life? That seems more reasonable.

Sometimes we take on the guilt of the whole world, even when we are powerless to change things and those with the power to won't lift a finger. Give them their guilt back and be free to enjoy your life right now.
