On this week’s episode Eric and Eric preview week 6 of our study following the video series “Your Time is Now” with Jonathan Evans on RightNow Media. In this final week of the study, Jonathan challenges us to “Press On.”

He asks us to consider these questions:

* When was the last time you gave up on something? Why didn’t you finish?

* Why are we tempted to give up when life gets hard?

* How can suffering impact our relationship with God?

* How can we persevere through hard times?

We had a conversation with two of our Shepherds about the Holy Spirit and Transformation and how we can use these foundational truths on our faith journey.

Welcome to week 3 of our study of “Your Time is Now.” This week, we are focusing on how we need to trust God to use us even when we think there is no way that he can or would use us.

As you listen to the podcast and then watch the video, please consider these questions as you go in:

When have you felt left out (maybe in grade school or while playing sports)? What emotions did you experience from being left out?

How should we handle experiences from our past that made us feel unwanted?

What is the difference between how God sees us and how people see us?

In what ways can we observe a person’s heart by their actions?

Remember that God has a different perspective than we do on whom he uses and how he uses them, and he’s ready and willing to use you Right Now.

Welcome to our first Men’s study in 2022. We are going to be going through the video series, “Your Time is Now” by Jonathan Evans. Jonathan will be challenging us to listen to what God is calling us to do and take on that calling right now. It’s thought provoking and challenging. We will be thoroughly blessed by it.

Welcome to a Special Episode of Grasp the Sword! As most of us get ready for Christmas, we take a minute to remember a baby who was born to us as the Savior of the World! Shea and Eric discuss Old Testament Prophecies that pointed to Jesus’ birth. They discuss the turmoil that the Jews underwent and some of the turmoil that we face today.

They also read through a narrative of the birth of Jesus from Matthew and Luke.  They share how Jesus coming in the way he did was not God’s meeting our expectations of a savior, but that God blows up our expectations.

Special thanks to our Praise team for coming in and recording a few songs for us. As always, they did a fantastic job! Also special thanks to John Redden for his help with the recording and prepping for the podcast!
