Abuse doesn’t always start with bruises or screaming. It usually begins with small controlling commands thats disguised as concern, or the false apologies that erase their accountability. Or even that the slow erosion of your confidence and independence you didn't even noticed it disappeared. Until it's gone.
Many survivors don’t really realize they’re in an abusive relationship until they find themselves deep in anxiety, feeling isolated, being constantly silenced, or constantly trying to “keep the peace.” And then, it feels like it's too late. Because we believe it is. And there is no other life expect this one.
In this episode of Life Re-assembled, we explore the subtle and overt signs of abuse and how these cycles of hurt are followed by temporary waves of calm of delusion. And then the cycle starts all over again.
This conversation is for anyone who has ever wondered:
You are not imagining your pain. And if you recognize yourself in these patterns, there is hope — healing begins with awareness, and safety begins with support.

Bonus Episode you didn't know you needed.
In the middle of recording another podcast- this topic just came out of me and inadvertently I started recording this topic about the spirit of fear. I dive into my personal story when the spirit of fear entered into me a 2nd time- however, I discovered it quickly and cast it out immediately.
I talk about how the spirit of fear makes you open the door for it to enter into you and so much more. This was a fun episode that I've been wanting to record for awhile. Enjoy!

Reclaiming Christmas is keeping this season sacred especially when life is already overwhelming.
Christmas wasn’t supposed to feel like pressure — but for many of us, it is. Our to-do lists, the family expectations, the endless buying, the back-to-back events, and the ever-growing list of traditions can really make this season easily feel heavy instead of holy.
In this episode, we talk about how Christmas has become crowded with noise and consumerism. The truth about why we feel so overstimulated this time of year, and how we can really step back and reclaim what’s sacred to us.
Keeping our mental health and telling our children the truth about this time of year is one of the best gifts we can give them.
If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or just wanting a calmer Christmas this year, this conversation is for you.

As we re-assemble our new lives after trauma, we usually tend to still hold on onto bad habits that helped us during the survival, but hinder us in our healing journey. The good news is- we don't need to get rid of them, we just need to replace them.

Today, we’re talking about the hidden weight of the effects of a traumatic event — the kind that follows us long after the moment has passed. PTSD (or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) isn’t just about what happened to us; it’s about how those moments remain as an echo and the lasting effects in our minds, emotions, and our daily lives. Sometimes it's hidden, and other times it's not.
I share my personal experience walking through trauma via an abusive relationship and how I learned how to live again when the past kept trying to pull me back to being unhealthy again. We go through some common myths and practical ways to carefully remove our state of mind into clarity.
This conversation is for anyone who’s ever felt trapped by their memories, triggers, or emotional cycles they can’t seem to shake. Healing doesn’t usually come all at once, but it does come — reassembling piece by piece, with grace, courage, and God’s nearness.

We have to remember that not all trauma can be prevented of course. However, if we are armed with how to respond to trauma, we can handle these unforeseen circumstances much better.
During our healing journeys, re-assembling our identities aids in withstanding future storms that are sure to come in some way or another.
When we build our house upon the rock, the wind may blow, but we're standing solid in Christ Jesus.
