What matters most? There are countless rules and regulations in religion. So many people view the commandments as restrictions on life, but actually they are a roadmap to holiness. God has been replaced by a multitude of things and yet He thirsts for our hearts continuously. Together we journey closer to the Cross during this Lenten season of penance & fasting in order to achieve spiritual growth. Ultimately it is God’s love and Christ living inside of us that will lead us to the fullness of life here on earth and in the world to come.

Life is busy and there are a million things on our minds. The challenges you face might seem impossible to overcome at times. What you should do when facing a big decision can be daunting. Where you must go next whether it be a big career move or responding to something God has placed on your heart can be a heavy load to carry. The Lord might be asking you to do the unimaginable. Whatever the situation is, trust and faith are important and that is developed through your relationship with the Lord. Today I invite you to open up your heart, quiet your spirit, and turn off the noise of your mind. Sit, listen, and receive the Love of God. His Son Jesus wants to tell you something . He is the one who journeys with you in all aspects of life.

Lent is a time of refinement & renewal. As we travel through the desert, it is important for us to invite the Lord into our hearts. God wants us to grow closer to Him and He desires to walk with us every step of the way. This lent let’s focus on trusting the Lord and allow Him to come to us so that our faith can be deepened. In doing so, Jesus will transform our lives and give us the ability though His grace to lead others to Him.

Every year we have 40 days or so to prepare for the resurrection. This year make it count. Let’s do some things differently. Let’s allow God to enter into our lives like never before. My challenge is for you to fully invite Jesus into your heart. Spend time with him daily in prayer and by doing some acts of service or spiritual things you haven’t in the past. Be open to and aware of the Holy moments of life. Receive the abundance of God’s grace and give Christ your complete self. Then the one who raised Jesus from the grave will give new life to you!

God has a plan and his love is endless. No matter what you are going through, Jesus is there for you. Believe and trust in Him. A relationship with the Lord will fill your heart with indescribable joy. When we share this joy and Jesus’ love with the world we bring hope to others. God’s love knows no bounds and we are called to share this good news with the world!

As we navigate through life, our journey can be challenging. Through it all, God desires to be with you. Jesus wants you to open up your heart to Him. It is important that we discover who we are and then uncover the beauty of who Jesus is. The question remains... “Who do you say I am?” Jesus is the one who will fulfill us, make us holy, and lead us to lasting joy. In Christ your life will never be the same!! Listen carefully because he is calling you by name!

Each of us desires to reach financial freedom and peace. We would like to have the money & time to do whatever it is that brings us great happiness & leads us to fulfillment. Time is our greatest ally. Compound interest grows most over the course of time. And yet there are no guarantees in life. So it’s important for each of us to have active investments that are earning us a constant stream of passive income so that we can reach our goals sooner. Why wait until 59.5? If I told you you could retire decades before would you? In order to do so you have to live and invest a different way.

Each of us is called by God and we are called by name. Jesus is asking us to be his faithful disciples and fishers of men. When we cast our nets and trust the Lord fully, he will take the ordinary people that we are and use us to change the world. By saying “yes” and following the Lord, God’s power transforms our hearts. Christ works in our lives and when we share the joy of the Gospel we are able to greatly impact all we encounter because of his perfect love.
