Why it is important to keep my first language alive, and what finally had to happen in order for me to take it seriously. 

We will talk about why it is a good idea to learn to communicate in "their" language, the language of the culture you moved to, or are about to move to. It seems fairly logical, but there are many emotional stops that may make this "logical" move rather illogical. :-)
