I’m going to go over my list and see what worked, what was realistic and what didn’t work. I’m also going to set new goals and figure out the actionable steps that I need to complete, to achieve my goals this year.

Gratitude is a way of thinking and feeling. It can move us away from thoughts such as fear, resentment, anxiety, anger and negativity and towards more positivity thoughts, understanding, joy, empathy and hope. The hard part is that feeling grateful isn’t always easy, comfortable or our natural ‘set-point’. Therefore, we need to keep being aware of it, and keep practicing. So, grab a cup of coffee and come discuss the different ways you can practice gratitude throughout your day!

Where I live the seasons have changed and the clocks have gone back an hour which means we are in darkness more than daylight. I don’t know about you but this really affects me. The role fat plays in our body is important it transports and stores vitamins and lipids, forms cell membranes, provides insulation and protection, it helps the nervous system, and it also helps in the formation of your hormones. We need a certain amount of body fat to keep every system running smoothly but having too much, (or even too little) can shift everything out of balance. I see so many women wanting to lose belly fat and I’m here to share a little secret on this topic. so, grab a cup of coffee and come hang out!
Should you count macros? In my opinion counting macros can be a really great tool to enhance your fitness and physic goals. It’s a good way to visually see how much a portion size is, especially if you constantly under or over eat and are not in tune to your hunger cues. While it’s great to utilize to reach your goals, I don’t believe it’s right for life, but that doesn’t mean you should use this tool to help you reach whatever goal you’re striving for. Who doesn’t love a good spooky story to really make your skin crawl?! I love scary novels, movies, and really anything that can leave you feeling creeped out especially in October so I thought why not find a bunch of spooky stories and share them with all of you for a super special bonus podcast episode. Back to school has come and gone and now that our children are fully into the swing of things there is one part that I have been dreading. The back to school colds. I am not a morning person. I love to sleep in but when I do (or when I can) I feel like I’ve wasted so much of the day. It’s sort of a love hate relationship. I love sleep but I hate feeling unproductive. I’ve had to choose which one is more important to me and since Zalera is back to school waking up early and having a productive morning is what I have chosen.
