We are all hungry to hear new experiences from people with ADHD. There's a lot of good information on pregnancy in general, but not as much about pregnancy alongside ADHD.
We have Cissy Watkins, an amazing certified doula and lactation consultant joining us for this episode. Cissy is warm and informative. You can find her on her Facebook page, Babies and Boobs
We are following the entire pregnancy journey starting before conception and ending with post-birth aftercare. Join us!

I know I tell you all to Guard Your Yes from folks trying to talk you into things, but sometimes you HAVE to let your people drag you on an adventure. For this episode, I and some of my favorite ADHD friends - some of who you'll recognize from previous episodes - sat down to record an episode LIVE after an event with ADDA.
This was ALL Inger Shaye's idea! Get to know her at ingershaye.com
Shout out to all the people who came out to hang out, including:
Loucresie Rupert, MD
Exhausted Mom Melanie
Evelyn Polk Green
Diane Laidlaw
This episode of Life With Lost Keys was recorded as an after party to an ADDA event! ADDA is an organization that helps adults with ADHD. To learn more about ADDA, please visit their website at adda.org

Noise. Close quarters. Uncomfortable seatbelts. Did I mention noise? Those are just a few of the things we are contending with when we agree to go on a road trip. But we had to go get Po (my dog) from Pennsylvania. So off we went; me, Kini (who doubles as my producer and my life partner), and her son.
So we decided to record it all.
Here's the article I referred to in the episode: America's favorite family outings are increasingly out of reach
We mentioned rejection sensitive dysphoria in this episode. Here's an article about it from Black Girl, Lost Keys!

"It's not easy being me, because I'm entirely not me yet. 'Cause I'm not really sure who I am, because becoming me is going to take a while. I'm transitioning. Not from one town to another, not from one job to another. I wish it was that easy. I'm transitioning from a woman to a man."
These are the vulnerable words Sunnie shares with us in the trailer for his new TV show, Thim, a show that chronicles Sunnie's journey into life as a Black man.
I've had the pleasure of seeing a private screening of the pilot episode and I assure you, it is like nothing you have ever seen before.

We hear the phrase "words mean things" often, and that is true in many places, but especially in the world of organization. What makes a person organized? What values are we attaching to that organization?

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Life With Lost Keys, the podcast from Black Girl, Lost Keys! We've been waiting forever, and we're finally here!
This episode is dedicated to René's brother, Nelson Jackson (1992-2021), who would have turned 30 on this episode's release date 7/1/2022.
About our Guest: Evelyn Polk Green, MSEd, is a past president of both ADDA, the Attention Deficit Disorder Association and CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder).
