Today’s Bible Verse:
"Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone." — Deuteronomy 34:7
Deuteronomy 34:7 highlights the remarkable close of Moses’ life. At 120 years old, his strength and vision remained, a testament not just to his physical endurance but to God’s sustaining power throughout his calling. This verse encourages us to consider how God can preserve us for the work He has prepared—right up until the finish line.

When life gets hard, it’s easy to lose sight of God’s faithfulness. Our problems can feel so loud and so close that they take up all the space in our minds—and before we know it, we’re focused more on the storm than the Savior.
But God has not changed. His character is still steady, merciful, and true. Even when we can’t feel Him, He remains faithful.
One simple way to strengthen our trust is to intentionally remember what He has already done. Try writing down one way God showed His faithfulness each day—something small or something significant. Then, when worry rises, you’ll have proof in front of you that God has been present all along.
TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE
“Great is your faithfulness.”
— Lamentations 3:23 (NIV)
YOUR NIGHTLY PRAYER
Dear God,
In the chaos of this world, it’s easy to lose sight of You—Your majesty, Your power, and Your faithfulness. When my problems feel bigger than my peace, remind me that You are still the same God who has carried me before. Teach me not to fixate on fear, but to focus on Your character. In every season—whether I’m on a mountaintop or in a valley—help me recognize Your presence and trust that You will never fail. I love You, I praise You, and I thank You for being faithful even when life feels uncertain.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
THREE THINGS TO MEDITATE UPON
Where have you struggled to trust God lately?
Be honest with Him—through prayer, journaling, or quiet reflection.
Start a daily “faithfulness list.”
Each morning or evening, write one way God provided, protected, comforted, or guided you.
Run to God in hardship, not away from Him.
Bring Him the problem first—and ask Him to help you notice His faithfulness in the middle of it.

Have you ever lain in bed at night, exhausted—but unable to quiet your thoughts? Or felt that tightness in your chest, the racing worries, the sense that you should be okay… but you’re not? If that sounds familiar, today’s episode of The Love Offering Podcast was recorded with you in mind.
I’m joined by my dear friend Becky Keife to talk about her new devotional, A Verse a Day for the Anxious Soul—and this conversation is both tender and deeply hopeful. Becky shares her own journey with anxiety, the freedom that came through honesty, and the simple, grace-filled ways God meets us right in the middle of our anxious moments.
We talk about:
• Why anxiety is so common—and why you’re not weak for feeling it
• How Scripture offers real comfort for weary, overwhelmed hearts
• Practical peace practices you can actually live out (even on hard days)
• Letting go of shame and learning to receive God’s compassion
• Resting in God’s presence when you don’t even have words to pray
What I love most about Becky’s approach is this reminder: God doesn’t shame us for our anxiety. He draws near. He invites us to come, to rest, and to receive His peace—one breath, one prayer, one verse at a time.
If your soul has been craving calm, reassurance, or simply the reminder that you are not alone, this episode will be a gift to you.
Listen to the episode here:
As always, I’m praying that this conversation helps you feel seen, steadied, and deeply loved by God.
With love,
Rachael

In today’s episode, Carol is joined by author and Bible teacher Melissa Spoelstra for a powerful conversation about fear, spiritual warfare, and the God who reigns over both heaven and earth. Drawing from her new Bible study, Melissa helps us understand why the Bible talks about angels—not so that we’ll become preoccupied with supernatural beings, but so our view of God will grow larger, stronger, and more hope-filled.
Together, Carol and Melissa explore what Scripture reveals about the unseen spiritual realm: angelic hosts, messengers, cherubim and seraphim, fallen angels, and even Satan. But more importantly, they highlight the character of the God who commands the angel armies, sets boundaries on evil, strengthens His servants through suffering, and offers refuge in moments of fear.
This episode gently but boldly addresses questions many believers wrestle with:
• What battles am I facing that I can’t see?
• How do I fight fear without becoming fearful of spiritual warfare?
• Why does God allow testing, and where is He when life feels heavy?
• How do angels reveal God’s heart, His protection, and His authority?
Through practical insight and biblical clarity, Melissa reminds us that although our battles are real, our God is sovereign, present, and victorious. We don’t fix our eyes on angels—we fix our eyes on the God who created them. And in doing so, we find the hope and courage we need for whatever we’re facing right now.
Whether you’re wrestling with anxiety, fear of the unknown, spiritual attack, or simply longing to understand God’s supernatural care more deeply, this conversation will breathe peace and truth into your soul.

What God Says about New Beginnings
By Aaron D’Anthony Brown
Bible Reading:
“But that is not how you came to know Christ, assuming you heard about him and were taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus, to take off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires, to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.” (Ephesians 4:20-24, CSB)
There’s plenty to appreciate about new things, like the smell of a new car or the feel of new clothes. This is all the more true of a new marriage or a newborn baby. Newness in life can be and often is good and exciting. Yet, while we can usually appreciate new material things or relationships, we don’t always show the same gratitude toward the newness found in God. The newness that is God. Perhaps that is because we don’t fully fathom what He says about new beginnings.
Scripture tells us how the Lord creates within us a “new self,” and how He offers “new mercies” every morning. He takes off the shackles of sin that once defined us and helps us become better image-bearers of His Son. The old self was corrupted, but the new self was created in His righteousness.
If our faith in Jesus Christ makes us new, then we don’t have to be like our old selves. Whatever sinful habits or unhealthy relat
