Working an 8-5 job brings stability and income predictability. There's nothing wrong with that, but unless you're in the 1% of jobs like doctor, lawyer or some other highly-skilled job that gets paid $300/hr+,  you won't become rich quickly.

Society and our poorly run education system teaches you to think in amounts. But people building wealth and millionaires think about money in percentages.

Society: A $4 item that goes to $5 is a $1 difference. No big deal.

Millionaires: A $4 item that goes to $5 is a 25% difference. That's a big deal. If nothing is different about the item, is it still worth it or can I find something similar? Do I even need it?

That is why its so powerful to think this way.

Now this is a small example but then multiply it to hundreds and thousands of dollars with credit card bills and mortgages and its life-changing.
