BUILDING FAITH MUSCLE IN 2020

Matthew 9:20-22 NIV

[20] Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.

[21] She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” [22] Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

Romans 5:1-2 (NLT)

5 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace[a] with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

1)Our faith brings undeserved PRIVILEGE

2) Faith is an act of my will despite how I feel.

3) Don”t let your problem be like a visa or passport to live in your past.

Romans 12:3 (NKJV)

3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

4) Faith is submitting your will to His.

5)  HAVING SOMETHING AND USING IT ARE TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS

1)信仰は、値しない特権をもたらす

2) 信仰とは、意思による行動で感情によるものではない

3)自分に起きた問題を、過去を生きるためのビザやパスポートにしないで

“私は使徒として、あなたがた一人一人に警告します。自分を過大に評価してはいけません。神から与えられている信仰に応じて、慎み深くありなさい。”

4) 信仰とは、自分の意思を神様に従わせること

“そこで、私はあなたがた外国人のために祈ります。どうか、希望を与えてくださる神があなたがたを幸せにし、平安で満たしてくださいますように。どうかあなたがたを、聖霊の力によって希望にあふれさせてくださいますように。”

5) 持っていること/使うことは、全然違う

Mark 10:17-22 (NIV)

[17] As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life? ✨

[18] “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good---except God alone. [19] You know the commandments:

'You shall not murder,

you shall not commit adultery,

you shall not steal,

you shall not give false testimony,

you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.' ”

[20] “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.”

[21] Jesus looked at him and loved him.

- He was wealthy

He had options.

- He was young

inherited a lot.

- He was a Ruler

was used to telling others what to do.

“One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven treasure . Then come, follow me.”

[22] At this the man's face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Help the poor - regard for Gods heart.

Treasure in heaven- Get an eternal perspective.

The Holy Spirit wants to speak into your life.

Will you allow God to speak into life this year??

How?

Number 1 way - through the Bible. (Journaling).

Matthew 6:9-13 NLT

[9] Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. [10] May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give us today the food we need, [12] and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. [13] And don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

「ああ、惜しいが１つやり残している・・・。今から自分の全財産を売り払い、貧しい人たちに与えてこいそうすれば、天に富を築けるぞ！！終わったら俺について来い！！」

「え・・・・・・！」 はつらつとしていた男の表情がとっさに曇った・・・・・・この男、相当な金持ちなのだ。結局、お金だけは諦められないと男は帰って行った。立ち去るその背中はなんと小さいことか。”

1. The man found what he was seeking

2. The man understood the value of the pearl and sold everything to get it.

The condition.

21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

The promise.

29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, 30 will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.

Now that I have the greatest treasure...

1.Protect the pearl

Matthew 7:6 (NIV)

“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

2.Pass onto the next generation a spiritual Inheritance.

Psalm 78:4 (NLT)

We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders.

約束

1.真珠を守る

聖なるものを犬に与えてはいけません。真珠を豚にやってはいけません。豚は真珠を踏みつ け、向き直って、あなたがたに突っかかって来るでしょう。

2.次世代へ聖なる遺産を引き継ぐ

子孫に隠さず、後の世代に語り継ごう 主への賛美、主の御力を 主が成し遂げられた驚くべき御業を。

Jesus doesn’t just send us - he is with us.

[19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Jesus is close - no matter how I feel.

[7] Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? [8] If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. Im no longer an orphan, I'm a child of God.

John 14:16,18

I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth… I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

Romans 8:15

‘The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”’

1. Orphans compete, while sons know they are accepted.

1 Corinthians 12:8,18-20 ERV

[8] The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak with wisdom. And the same Spirit gives another person the ability to speak with knowledge. [18-19] If each part of the body were the same part, there would be no body. But as it is, God put the parts in the body as he wanted them. He made a place for each one. [20] So there are many parts, but only one body.

2. Orphans will Isolate but sons loves to be together

Ephesians 1:5 ERV

And before the world was made, God decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. This was what God wanted, and it pleased him to do it.

3. Orphans carry Fear and Insecurity but sons know they are loved

Matthew 10:29-31 ERV

[29] When birds are sold, two small birds cost only a penny. But not even one of those little birds can die without your Father knowing it. [30] God even knows how many hairs are on your head. [31] So don't be afraid. You are worth more than a whole flock of birds.

4. Orphans focus on Performance, while sons walk in grace

Our Father’s invitation is to experience the fullness of His undeserved grace and favour.

Ephesians 1:6 ERV

[6] And this brings praise to God because of his wonderful grace. God gave that grace to us freely. He gave us that grace in Christ, the one he loves.

‘Yet to all who did receive [Jesus], to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.’

2. 孤児は孤立するが、子どもは一緒にいることを好む

初めからイエス・救世主をとおして私たちを養子にし、家族に迎えると決めていた。 これは神の望みだったからこそ喜んで行動に移してくれた。

3.孤児は恐れと不安定さを抱えているが、子どもは愛されてることを知っている

4. 孤児は実績を見るが、子どもは恵みの中を生きる
