The colt that Jesus rode

Luke 19:29-34 (NLT)

[29] As he came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead. [30] "Go into that village over there," he told them. "As you enter it, you will see a young donkey tied there that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. [31] If anyone asks, 'Why are you untying that colt?' just say, 'The Lord needs it.'" [32] So they went and found the colt, just as Jesus had said. [33] And sure enough, as they were untying it, the owners asked them, "Why are you untying that colt?" [34] And the disciples simply replied, "The Lord needs it."

He was chosen for a purpose.

He was available

1. 愛に根ざした関係を築く

2. 愛を受け取ることで、あなたは変わっていける

1. Build a relationship rooted in love

自分の将来を神様に委ねて信頼しよう

エレミヤ29:11 (リビング訳)

わたしは、おまえたちのために立てた計画をよく知っている。

3. 自分がシングルだということにフォーカスしないで

このように、数えきれないほどの信仰の勇者が、競技場の正面観覧席で、私たちの競技を見つめているのです。だから、スピードを落とさせたり、うしろへ引き戻そうとする力に目を光らせなさい。特に、足にうるさくまつわりついて、つまずかせようとする罪をふり捨てなさい。そして、神様の用意された特別のコースを、忍耐して走り抜こうではありませんか。私たちの指導者であり教師であるイエス様から、目を離さないようにしなさい。イエス様は十字架の死のあとの喜びを知って、恥をもいとわず十字架にかかられました。そして今は、神様の王座の隣、名誉ある座についておられるのです。

1. Don't compare yourself to others

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like cancer in the bones.

2. Stay away from things that will wreck you

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (NLT)

Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

3. Don't focus on your singleness

Hebrews 12:1-2 (NLT)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God and His throne.
