There is no shame in crying out to God for vindication, but final justice lies in the hands of God, and no other. Seek comfort and justice from God alone.

When we know God, we see a clearer picture of who we are. Such a vision calls us to seek purity and leads to the desire to pour out our faults before God so that we may be made clean.

We are all sinners. King David's confession of Psalm 51 goes beyond the confession of his sins of lying, committing adultery and killing to the heart of the matter; he sinned against God and only God can save him.

Though the world is still surely “fallen,” Jesus Christ currently reigns, and through the church he is spreading his righteous rule.

There is a peace that can only be known when we simply trust and let God be in control.

As followers of God (of Christ, in our setting today), we can know that once we are in the Lord, we are in the Lord forever. He is our keeper, we do not keep ourselves.

The Lord is worthy of all honor, glory and praise! We are to praise the LORD our entire life and throughout eternity. The LORD is our help and our hope.

God is never far from us. He has promised us his presence, and in that presence is joy, peace, and safety. Remind yourself: If you know Christ, God dwells in you!

God hears our cries of repentance and responds to them with grace and mercy.

Life in relationship to God gives us both a present faith and a future hope. Live wisely now—but set your hope firmly in heaven.
