How is it, in an age where so many are connected by technology, that we have created a culture so disconnected? Does anyone really see us, know us for who we really are? We will look at a story from the Scriptures of an individual who struggle with aloneness and found a God who saw them and comforted them.

Shame is often at the root of much of our destructive behavior. Paul wrote about the shame of not being right in Romans. What did he identify as the answer, and how can we apply it to our lives?

What do we do when the brokenness of our lives causes us to act in ways that we know are wrong and produce results we don't want? How can a community of faith help?

What is the basis for the Authority of the Scriptures? What does "Authority of the Scriptures" even mean? How can such an ancient book be even relevant to our times much less an authority? What role should the Scriptures play in our lives and in our search for truth?

Truth in the Scriptures is more than propositional truths. It is supposed to be a "living" truth. What does this mean? What does it look like? How are we to live so we can be the "living" truth for others?

Open questions about tolerance and Christianity

This is a very heated topic in our culture today. The Christian Church is often seen as being intolerant of Homosexuals, and sometimes is. What can we learn from God's Word about this topic? How are we to re-present Christ, build bridges across the moats of hate, anger, and pain? How do we offer Christ's love and grace?
