When we to the scriptures with the right attitude and perspective, we not only find

instruction, knowledge and wisdom, we find an encounter with God Himself. Yet for many, reading or studying the scriptures is an experience much more mundane and some might say even boring. Why is this so and what do we need to do to be "with God" when we study the Scriptures?

We are invited into prayer "with" God and not just prayer "to" God. Yet, for so many, prayer is a one-way conversation to an unseen, and unperceived being. God desires to be "with us". This especially includes are times spent talking with Him. This discussion investigates how we can improve our time in prayer with Him.

Praise and worship is a discipline we practice, a ritual in which we participate, and a response to God's presence and provision. Unfortunately, because thre is a ritual component to it, it can often become ritualistic. When that happens, it fails to create the "with God" life within us. So how can we practice praise and worship so it will strengthen our relationship with God?

As believers in Christ we are promised the presence and the leading of the Holy Spirit. How does this happen, and is there anything we can do to become more sensitive to His leadings?

"God with us" is the story of the Bible and the promise for the believer. Yet, many who believe do not experience this life "with God", and many who do, do so only on a very limited basis. Why is this so?
