Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we hoped. Maybe your family felt broken growing up, or your parent wasn’t present the way you needed them to be. Maybe the people who were supposed to protect you let you down. The story of Joash in the Bible reminds us that even when earthly support falls apart, God is still writing a good story.

Joash was born into royalty, yet lost both his parents and was nearly killed by his own relative. But God stepped in. He placed people in Joash’s life, his aunt and uncle, who raised him with love and wisdom. What looked like the end was only the beginning. God became the Father Joash needed, guiding him to grow into a faithful king.

Whether you’ve had a loving father or felt the weight of his absence, know this: God sees you. He is a father to the fatherless, a healer of wounds, and a restorer of hope. It’s easy to feel overlooked when others are celebrated. In Luke 15, we meet the older brother, a faithful and responsible son, who struggled with bitterness when his younger brother returned home to a joyful welcome. His story reminds us how important it is to stay focused on the place God has given each of us.
Your place matters. Whether you’re in the spotlight or quietly serving, the Father sees you. He values your obedience, your consistency, and your heart. But when we start to compare, it becomes harder to recognize His love. That’s when resentment can take root and joy begins to fade.
We’re reminded to guard our hearts, celebrate grace, and hold on to the truth that our place with the Father is secure. He welcomes the broken and honors the faithful. No matter how others are treated, your place in His house is still yours. Keep showing up. Keep trusting. Keep your eyes on Him.

Have you ever felt like you’ve wandered too far from God’s love to ever be welcomed back? Like the prodigal son, maybe you feel you’ve lost your place in His family, that your mistakes have stained your worth. But Jesus paints a different picture, a picture of a Father who waits with open arms, ready to restore you to your rightful place.

In Luke 15, the son came home dirty, broken, and ashamed. Yet the Father didn’t meet him with condemnation. Instead, He clothed him in the finest robe, placed a ring on his finger, and celebrated with a feast. That’s how God responds to us. No matter what we’ve done, His love is bigger than our failures.

We’ve all dreamed of that perfect place in life, where the timing feels just right, the stress melts away, and everything finally comes together. As kids, we imagined it would arrive with freedom, fun, or growing up. But as adults, we often find ourselves still searching, still waiting for the “someday” when peace and happiness finally meet us.

We can take a look at the story of the Prodigal Son, a young man who chased after his dream life, only to find it wasn’t what he thought. Like him, we sometimes believe that if we just had a little more, went a little further, or tried a little harder, we’d find that perfect place.

But the truth is, that place isn’t something we create on our own—it’s something God lovingly leads us into. When we let Him take the wheel, we discover peace, purpose, and joy we never could have found alone. The Father knows the way. You can rest in that.

There’s something beautifully fierce about a mother’s love. It doesn’t wear out, give up, or walk away. In *Matthew 15*, we meet a Gentile woman who embodies this kind of love—unshakable, persistent, and full of hope. Her daughter was suffering, and though she was ignored, dismissed, and even insulted, this mother refused to stop believing. She kept pressing in, because she knew the One who could make a difference.

We are reminded that love like that is never wasted. Whether you’re a mom, a dad, or someone standing in the gap for someone you love—don’t give up. Sometimes the answers come slower than we’d like. Sometimes the silence is deafening. But faith that refuses to quit always gets heaven’s attention.

When the world says, “There’s nothing more you can do,” Jesus says, “Bring it to Me.” So whatever you’re facing, let this story remind you: love deeply, pray boldly, and worship through the waiting. Breakthrough is coming.

What does it look like to fully step into your faith after meeting Jesus? Life can feel overwhelming at times, and we often face struggles that seem bigger than we can handle. It's easy to feel paralyzed by fear, doubt, or anxiety, as if the challenges in front of us are insurmountable. But even in those moments, you don't have to face them alone. God is with you, offering strength, peace, and the courage to keep going.

Mary Magdalene showed up to the tomb expecting sorrow, but what she found instead changed everything. Her heart was heavy, her eyes full of tears—but Jesus was already there. Sometimes, we can be so overwhelmed by our pain that we miss the very presence of the One who brings peace.

We are reminded that Jesus meets us right where we are—grief, confusion, brokenness and all. Whether we recognize Him immediately or not, He never stops reaching for us. Like Mary, we may mistake Him for someone else, but when He calls us by name, everything changes.

No matter what you’re walking through—loss, fear, regret—Jesus is alive and close by. There is always hope because He lives. The stone has been rolled away. The victory has already been won. We just have to open our hearts and look up.

On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem to the cheers of a massive crowd. They waved branches, shouted praises, and celebrated His arrival. But hidden in that crowd were two kinds of people: the curious and the committed. Some were there for the moment, the energy, the spectacle. Others—fewer in number—were there because they had been changed by Him.

The crowd may have shouted loud, but they didn’t stick around. Days later, many of those same voices cried “Crucify Him.” That’s the thing about the crowd—it’s fleeting, shallow, and easily swayed. But the committed? They were different. They had experienced healing, forgiveness, freedom. They weren’t just watching—they were walking with Jesus, even when it got hard.

You don’t have to stay in the crowd. You can be part of the few who are “all in” for Christ—used by Him to change the world. When we live committed to Christ, our lives become more than noise; they become a message of hope. Let today be the day you step out of the crowd and fully into His purpose.
