On this week's episode I have the pleasure of speaking to a very special guest my next guest has been on the show before we spoke about the genesis of his entertainment career some of the milestones he had achieved up to that point.

He started out working in production department on my favorite show scrubs thus helping him have a career in entertainment spanning almost two decades with plenty of achievements .

He has then has gone onto great things he's won Emmy’s and worked on several hit shows including but not limited to the great Ted Lasso , Shrinking which has it a second season coming out and the new production Bad Monkey staring Vince Vaughan on apple TV

It has nearly been 3 years since we have had a chat it has flown by!

He shares some behind the scenes stories of the productions he's worked on , A preview of things to come and more things entertainment and Hollywood !

All of you would know by now I am a huge Cronulla Sharks fan and to me this was a pure joy to collaborate with an absolute legend meet the very talented musician and podcast lord Sam Shinazzi

On this episode I have the incredible opportunity to speak to an extremely brave Australian woman Simone O'Brien.

In 2012 she suffered a horrific domestic violence attack at the hands of a perpetrator who would not take “no” for an answer.

It started with emotional and psychological abuse, including telling lies, stealing money and insults. And it ended with her being beaten with a baseball bat to within inches of her life.

She lost eyesight on her right side and her sense of smell. Her skull is currently held together with screws and titanium plates. The ripple effect of this on her children has been unimaginable.

I became aware of Simone's story at a workplace comms day where she presented her story and had an audience of hundreds of people speechless and in awe of her presence ...

53 Surgeries , Court Cases , Medical Treatment every week for the rest of her life are bit some of the hardships she has had to face from experiencing a truly traumatic experience.

Yet despite this she offers help freely on a mission to break the stigma of DV , raising awareness , helping identify red flags and educating individuals on ways to help break and end the pandemic of DV.

It was an honor to host such a selfless kind person and have a very important conversation . 1 in 4 women suffer from DV in Australia and 1 in 14 men suffer . Also we lose a womans life on average every 4 days due to DV which is a truly alarming statistic.

I encourage you all to listen to this conversation as its a current relevant topic in the world at present and help end the horror of DV.

My next guest is a very talented individual she is a Journalist, Writer, Presenter, Media Consultant and Master of Ceremonies, she has spent 20 years in Australian television as a reporter, producer and presenter I would like you all to meet Nicole Webb.

A key player at 24 hour news channel Sky News for a decade, when she and her hotelier husband moved to Hong Kong in 2010 and then Xi’an, North West China in 2014, she was quickly able to establish herself as the creative go-to-girl for anything media related in Asia-Pacifica.

As communications are her specialty, her work has included hosting premier business awards in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines, presenting corporate videos across China and media training and consulting for Hong Kong and Australian companies; as well as a guest on RTHK Radio 3’s morning show as an expert blogger.
