Episode 24: Gypsies (My Big Fat American Gypsie Wedding TV Show in Review): In this episode we primarily discuss Gypsies, trans-generational trauma in regards to the tv show My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, and different types of gypsy spells used within their culture. Gypsies are sometimes forgotten when people talk about magic, tarot readings, and hexing- but they were one of the first true witches. Gypsies may have a stigma attached to them, but its due to trans-generational trauma, and the lack of generational wealth in their culture as a whole. Many gypsies traveled from all over Europe to the shores of America- which is way many gypsies live along the eastern coast- but you still will find them throughout the United States. Although the term gypsies comes from Egyptian, there is many gypsies from Russia, England, Ireland, and Germany. These cultures like to keep their blood line pure, and tend to marry within their family (cousins, etc.) They refer to anyone outside of their culture as gorgers.
