It never has been. Mike began his career in hospitality Industry, where his natural passion to care for people was able to shine. In the late 90’s, Mike began helping friends modify their cars in his garage and he quickly grew a reputation for fixing the things that shops and enthusiasts had messed up. In 1999 he opened his business in Houston. He wanted to create an environment that cared for each customer like he had cared for his friends. Soon it wasn’t just performance and race cars coming his way, but all kinds of people were coming to his shop. In this episode of the LIFT Your Shop podcast, we speak with Tommy Gaynor who is currently the Northwest Market Director of Sun Auto and Tire. Tommy is a 2nd generation multi store operator. Entrepreneur, innovative problem solver with cross-functional skills and adaptability across multiple industries.

LIFT Your Shop Podcast has the awesome Joh  Pearson on and he explains how he goes about managing his two Pearson Auto shops in Alaska and his one Auto Correct shop in Arizona which are 3,500 miles apart.  

John went to UTI in 2006 and worked on cars until 2010. He then joined the military to work on helicopter where they sent him to Alaska. In 2013 he started his own shop from his garage. In November 2013 he then started Pearson Auto as a one bay shop which is now 9 bays today. In August 2020 he opened his second store in Alaska which got to 120k/mo in revenue in just 3 months. He then opened his latest venture in Arizona in August 2021 where he now manages 3 shops that are 3500 miles apart!
