Generosity releases the power of greed in your life;

It releases us from the power of materialism;

It's good for our character - generosity isn't something we do, it's something we are;

We get to be part of building His kingdom when we give!

The fourth episode in our series, Building His Kingdom, is Vision Sunday and we've been so excited to hear what word God has given us for this coming year. During this message, Pastor Jonny bring us the word 'SIMPLE' and encourages us to keep it simple in our lives and simple in our ministries at Light and Life. We feel called this year to a simple church structure with simple ministries, simply sharing the Good News in every way we can. Pastor Jonny explores how we do this through Hebrews 12. 

This week we are asked the question: What could my life truly look like, if I was fully immersed in God's purpose for me? We are created on purpose and for a purpose and we can't wait to see what God is going to do at Light and Life this year.

In the third episode of our Light and Life podcast, and the next in the series entitled 'Building His Kingdom,' Pastor Chris shares with us on 'The Kingdom is Unseen.' During this message we look at how the Holy Spirit can, and will if we allow it to, renew our heart, mind, soul and strength. Pastor Chris tells us that, if we want to build His kingdom here in the seen, we need Him to work in our unseen. The Holy Spirit does its work in us so that the kingdom can be built through us!

We are asked the question: What could our life look like if we yield to the Holy Spirit and give our lives over to God?

In this, the second episode of our Light and Life podcast, and the second in the series entitled 'Building His Kingdom,' Pastor Stephen explores the concept of 'The Kingdom is Seen.' During this message we are taken through the examples of the physical kingdom of God on earth and then in the book of James we are challenged to DO something about it. Pastor Stephen reminds us that our FAITH is completed when it leads to ACTION.
