Light Has Dawned

"Feeling lost? Remember, God has a plan for each of us. When I was at my lowest, a dream reminded me of His presence. He holds us, guides us, and brings hope. Trust in His purpose for you."

Welcome to Week #5 of the "2-Minute Devotionals." Cisco Terrazas recounts a vivid dream from a time before he found Christ, inspired by Isaiah 41:13. In his dream, he was lost in a run-down urban area but saw a bright, paradisiacal place across a wrought iron fence. An unidentified person in a white robe reached out to him, providing comfort and safety amidst his depression. This experience, later reinforced by scripture, helped Cisco realize God's plans for everyone, especially the lost. He urges listeners to understand that God is always watching and has a purpose for each person, offering hope and guidance even when they feel lost.

I am excited to announce that we are launching a new segment on our podcast titled 2 Minute weekly devotional. Last year we released this devotional on video format only and all 53 weeks of 2024 are available on YouTube. We decided that in this new year we will add this segment for our audio listeners to experience as well.
Each Wednesday we will be blessed to have a new guest share a powerful scripture and a word of encouragement to ignite your spirit and fuel your journey of faith. Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God and embrace the transformation he has for you.

Omar Calvillo kicks off the first two-minute devotional of 2025 by sharing a blessing from Numbers 6:24-26 and addressing the popular slogan 'Only God can judge me.' He emphasizes the need for genuine faith reflected through actions and repentance, underscoring that belief alone is not sufficient. Calvillo encourages viewers to read the Bible to understand God's requirements and to trust in Jesus Christ, highlighting the inevitability of judgment and the significance of Jesus' sacrifice.
