Halloween is over and last week’s matchups rizzed us up HARD! Huge wins for Michigan and Cornell both getting giant non-conference wins against UND and Boston University. The Big Ten has been crazy to watch with 6 of 7 teams ranked and Wisconsin even getting a win! Are they the best conference so far? It’s time for conference play as this week, we break down some great battles like OSU vs Michigan State, Maine at BC, and Western Michigan at Omaha. Howdy partner 🤠 This week on LTL, Nathan and Quez break down last week’s matchups and news in the world of college hockey. Wisconsin continues to struggle as they go 1-5 to start the year. Too early to say it’s over? The NCHC fought hard heading into conference play as North Dakota, Omaha, and Western all play ranked opponents. The boys were up in St. Cloud this weekend to celebrate homecoming and to watch a great SCSU vs Augustana series. We are back this week and man, did we have some games to talk about. We go over the Icebreaker tournament last weekend and Minnesota's dominance up to the championship game. We had some big upsets this week with Wisconsin losing to Lindenwood at home, Mankato getting upset by Merrimack, ASU fighting with Michigan, and much more.

We are edging closer to conference play, and this week we have a lot of fun matchups to dive into. We have Mankato in North Dakota battling it out in Minnesota, Michigan taking on a undefeated Saint Cloud State team, Denver fighting Northeastern, and of course, the best matchup of the week, STONEHILL versus LAKE SUPERIOR STATE 🔥

Ding Dong 🔔 Open the door. The hockey season is ready to roll. Week 2 of the season is here. Non-conference matchups with huge PairWise implications early fill our docket this week. First, we discuss some of the upsets and news from last week all over the country, including predictions for how these games affect the season in the long-run. Michigan & Mankato split and Nathan throws out a theory that the Wolverines are getting help from the dead 👻 Air Force snags a game against ASU as well. Do the Spartans still compete in the NCHC? And we enjoy a completely moronic conversation about Penn State’s mascot.

We are also joined by our LTL intern Joe Williams to hear his “boots on the ground” experience up north for a big Minnesota rivalry series last week between Bemidji State & Duluth. And, per usual, we make our game picks with a 4 person panel.

All four schools are absolute powerhouses in the college hockey scene with a combined 28 National Championships. 3 #1 seeds and talent all around.
