In this Light Up Your Worth podcast episode host Debbie McAllister and her guest sound healer, artist, collage facilitator, and Kundalini Yoga Instructor Tina Karagulian discuss anchoring into our inner wisdom and tunning into our bodies for our YES or NOs. 

For over thirty years, Tina Karagulian has empowered others in sessions and retreat gatherings to awaken creativity, truth, and joy within their lives, and it began with her weaving different elements on her own journey. Training in counseling began her journey, where along the way she included visualizations, inner child integration, soul retrieval, and art therapy as alternative ways to bring healing for herself and others. 

Wanting more connection to the inner Spirit or Divine within, Tina received training in an ecumenical spiritual direction program, which helped her listen for the nuggets in words and within images, which strengthened her awareness of the guidance of the Divine inner presence. Collage as a tool has been there from the beginning, first as an art therapy tool to heal trauma and grief, yet it began to weave on a deeper level: opening stuck creativity and visually showing messages from the Divine inner presence within each of us. 

Tina's search to find ways to release the mind of old belief systems led her to Kundalini Yoga. For the past three years, as a 200-hour certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, she teaches weekly classes to prepare the body for meditation, increasing mental focus, intuition, stillness and heart wisdom. All these tools have been transformational steps on her personal journey to thrive, and they have weaved a new blueprint for her own life. She offers these tools to you on your transformational journey to live and thrive!

With everything on a deadline, how do you manage expectations others have of you? In this week's episode, Natasha Sattler the author and Podcast host of Shit Adults Never Taught Us, and host Debbie McAllister discusses some of the changes that things got easier but life didn't get easier, and navigating through adulting. 

The podcast and book Shit Adults Never Taught Us is a comedic memoir disguised as a self-help book. 

To call writing a passion would be an understatement for Natasha Sattler. Raised in Maryland, Sattler was always one to seek creative endeavors. In grade school, she would write full TV scripts, put on plays for her family, and keep journals as a form of self-expression. Sattler went to the University of Central Florida at the age of 17 to study Filmmaking, with a concentration in screenwriting. She graduated three years later with a Bachelor's Degree and a desire to hit the ground running in the entertainment industry.

When she moved to Los Angeles just ten days after graduating college, her left brain took over and she found herself quickly in the role of Producer for broadcast commercials. Despite the fact that she spent her days producing, her love of writing never faded. After nearly a decade working in commercials, feature films, and movie trailers, Sattler found her way into the print medium. In 2020, she began her foray into authorship, writing Shit Adults Never Taught Us in just six weeks.

Sattler currently lives in Los Angeles with her dog, Kingston. Whenever possible, she packs a bag and travels around the world, having been to over a dozen countries by the time she turned 30. When she's home, her hobbies include hiking and consuming all of the coffee, cheese and pasta within reach.
