Christmas is approaching fast, and we begin a new series today about God's Amazing Gifts. Join us as we look at "The Extraordinary Gift" God has given to mankind.

Thank God for His Great Mercy and Love!

On this faithful morning, Jesus had not gone to the Temple to offer His blessing; He had gone to deal with those who deserved judgment. He went to Jerusalem to set His Father’s house in order. This should stand as a challenge to every local congregation throughout the world.

We have come together in the Lord’s house, to worship Him. We must ensure that everything is done in accordance to His Word and pleasing to Him.

Pt. 4 – Walk watchful [1-11], respectful [12-13], mindful [14-15], thankful [17-18], careful [19-21], faithful [22-28]

Fruit will always be present in the lives of those who have been transformed by Christ.

The Lord examines our lives, expecting to find fruit. When fruit is produced, there is blessing;

when fruit is lacking, there is judgment and chastening.

Our world is filled with blind people.

Now, I’m not talking necessarily about physical blindness.

There are many who see perfectly physically but live in absolute blindness to the Lord.

They refuse to see the love of Christ. Many have heard the truth of Jesus but have never had their eyes opened to see their condition, or their great need.

Jesus alone can touch blinded eyes.

The greatest battle we have is the continual struggle to suppress the flesh.

Pride takes on many forms, and can be revealed in many ways, but it often presents unwanted consequences. Our text today reveals an encounter between Jesus and His disciples that deals with the challenge of pride in our life.

Reformation is like a bottomless cup. Because you are trying to fill yourself with yourself, and nothing plus nothing still equals nothing. We need to tap into something else outside of us, something much more potent, something which can change us from the inside out and something big enough to fill us and fulfill us.
