For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Urban legends tell of musicians going to the crossroads to make a deal with the Devil in return for infamy. Jesus stood at the crossroads many times in His life - making decisions that would cost Him everything.

We all - like John the Baptist - are called to prepare the way of the Lord. But first He must prepare us!
