Lighthouse of Hope Church (LOH Church)

In prison, surrounded by problems and persecution, and yet Paul is full of spirit. He is locked in to God’s peace. This pandemic has brought great challenges and great opportunity. To put aside pettiness and score keeping, and to promote peace in our family.

This morning we start a study of Philippians - Paul’s own mental health handbook. It’s a place we can find encouragement and hope. A place we can find God’s real peace - and make that peace our reality. Walk slowly with us, as we discover Philippians - Locked In To God’s Peace.

We complete our mini-series on A United State with a rallying cry. With a call that the Holy Spirit will be in our prayers and in our practice. We pray that like so many great voices before, God places tender hearts within us, in creating A New Birth of Freedom for all.

We the People of the United States, sometimes struggle to define the word 'WE'. But God has done it for us. In Christ, we are a United State of inclusion, with diversity placing value on all. Join us for this 2-week mini-series, as Pastor Tim McGregor dreams what God envisioned as the true United State.

Creation groans around us. Weakness waits within us. But Christ tells us we are more than conquerors - not only promising victory, but overwhelming triumph! We face the trials of life with the certainty that we are not alone. You have a mighty Father who fights for you!

Failure cultivates fertile ground for your comeback story!

In our third chapter in the VELCRO series, Pastor Shawn Twigg illustrates Storms of Failure through the eyes of Peter. Through Peter's heart and Jesus's response, we are reminded again that NOTHING - not even our failures - can separate us from God's love.

God wants to tattoo the facts of His love on your soul, so that in the face of life’s storms, it will not be shaken. Nothing can separate me from the love of God.

“The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.”

- 2 Timothy 1:12-14

In the face of uncertainty and constant change, one thing has and always will remain constant - GOD'S LOVE! This week marks the first of four intimate human journeys, into the heart of God.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

- Romans 8:38-39

We’re wrapping up our trilogy on the Holy Spirit with Pastor Tim McGregor’s message - The River. Step into the River and enjoy the refreshing fulfillment of the Spirit. Step in and experience the powerful results of going deeper with God.

God desires an intimate relationship with YOU! This desire is illustrated beautifully in a chance encounter between a woman and her Savior at a well. Join Pastor Shawn Twigg, as he continues our series on The Holy Spirit!
