We can't jettison the most important things as concerning the faith. As long as the faith is concerned there are things that are of more importance. It doesn't mean others are discarded. It implies we pay attention to the more important things, giving priority to them without neglecting the rest. Doing the rest and neglecting the more important things is hypocrisy. This what what Jesus addressed with the scribes. We learn from it.

Don't let the things surrounding you negatively give you a name. Let your status not be found in your circumstances. Christ is your status. He has given you an identity. That identity regulates your life and you must daily live in the light of it.

The center of our lives will determine our priorities. What we hold so dear in our hearts will determine what we are ready to la down our lives for. The call is to bring us out from everything that'd distract us from the eternal purpose so we can run our races undistracted. In this Christ must be our sentiment. He must be the center of it all.

The man in Christ is much more. People should become better when they encounter us. Christianity is supernatural hence this experience should be accounted for by those who encounter us. We must also align our minds to this reality. We are much more simply because we have the Spirit mightily at work in us.

The life of Jesus is the blueprint of the believer. The life we ought to live has already been lived by Jesus. Ours is simply to act out the script.

The more we are at rest the more more we should depend on God. It's very easy to lose one's devotion when one is in comfort. It's very easy to rely on one's resources when one is in comfort than depending on God. It's God first. If upon His leading He directs you to any man so be it.

Whose glory do we seek? Whose approval do we seek? A life consecrated to the Lord will seek His glory hence wouldn't mind if it requires him standing alone. Many times the path of truth is lonely. If God gets the glory it's a path worth following. Who gets the glory?

You can't receive anything from who you do not believe. God's word for us is with and in the men He has sent to us. To disregard the men He has sent to us us to hinder the power of the word in our lives. Our heart's posture towards the men He has sent to us must be without animosity. To believe God and not receive the men He sent to you is insincerity.

Bringing the disciples into clarity as got to do with the gospel facts was priority for Jesus upon His resurrection. He spent forty days doing this. If this was primary to Christ it must also be to us. Seeing men come to full comprehension of the gospel.

It is right and proper to erupt in joy when the majesty of God is unveiled to us..
