Lack of desperation can make us insensitive to channels for that change we seek. Desperation is wrong as long as it is towards God. You can't want a change from the Lord and you show no zeal or readiness. I strongly believe that to the degree we are desperate is to the degree we reach and take hold of that which we seek from the Lord.

Your faith is your defence. Every attack by the devil is to weak your faith. Once fear is interjected the enemy can have his way. You aren't vulnerable until you let in fear. The devil cannot touch you as long as your shield is on. Daily feed your faith by letting the word of Christ influence you.

The posture of our hearts towards giving is very vital. We must train our hearts in generosity. Generosity won't withhold even when it could. Sacrificial giving is as scriptural as any other truth we hold on to and as believers we must equally train our hearts towards it too.

That the world don't acknowledge God in their welfare don't mean as a child of God you should tow the same line. When we don't acknowledge God as the Source of what we have, serving His cause with what we have will become a great challenge. Selfishness has never served the purpose of God. No one became anything all by himself. Such thinking breeds selfishness in every way. No one is self-made. God has put in man ability to do things. If the world don't acknowledge it you mustn't tow that line too.

The Lord assists greatly His work. Without the Lord the fruit of the work will be scarcely seen. There isn't much we'd do with Him assisting us, joining forces with us so as to see His agenda materialize here on earth. As we go forth preaching the gospel let us keep this in mind that we have sunergeo. We have a joint force with the Lord. We have help from Him. We have assistance from Him.

Jesus showed us was true zeal will produce. It will seek to keep the sanity and sanctity of God's house. The purpose of the church shouldn't be abused because we kept mute over certain anomalies. The church is the pillar and ground of truth. We must be passionate about this purpose and channel our zeal rightly to maintaining it.

In Christ we see the boundless love of God. His extravagant grace. His hyper grace. The sweet sound of His grace demonstrated in His Son when He took the place of the unrighteous. He was without sin yet condemned as a sinner. He was faultless but judged like the guilty. He bore our sins and shame so we stand justified. Amazing grace right? Yes, and you must love the sound

We can be stuck at a point going in the wrong direction until we are divinely redirected. One thing is being redirected, another is being sensitive to it and making the move. Progress is a step in the right direction. You may be moving forward in the wrong direction and that's not progress. Progress is moving in the direction God has shown you.

Desperation isn't totally a negative slant when faith is the posture. When it is focused on the power of God for a change in our lives. It helps our sensitive to God's channel for that change and also gives us the resoluteness. How Desperate you are for the power of God would be seen in you not giving up despite the voices of discouragement around you.

God's presence isn't at variance with His presence. Many times because we want the spectacular we miss the very presence of God. God's voice isn't in contest with His nature. God doesn't speak differently from who His is. He is peace and His voice carried the very presence of peace.
