Lightning Rounds

Are there only specific Christians who are gifted with sharing the gospel? Or is it a calling for every Jesus follower? Have you ever shared the gospel and it go horribly wrong? Where hasn't Andrew been on a mission trip?

In this episode, the LR Trio welcome fall into the ears of every listener and dive in the scriptures to uncover the truth about the subject of sharing the gospel.

So grab your early 2000s gospel tracts and let's talk about EVANGELISM!

"In Matthew 28:19 it says we are commanded to preach the gospel to everyone, but in Ephesians 4:11 it says some are given the gift of evangelism in the church. Then in 2 Timothy 4:5 it says to do the work of an evangelist. So my question is this, are only some given the gift of evangelism even though all are called to preach the gospel?? Or do all of us as believers have that gift but just need to be obedient and step out in faith and do it?"

This episode is about the Christian and mental health.

I know... sounds heavy, right? But it's actually pretty funny...but also serious. We love you guys, and we pray for you all the time. Thanks for reading if you've gotten this far.

Your favorite podcast trio responds to this listener's question:

"What should our ideal mental health look like as Christians? Are we allowed to suffer? I know we shouldn’t be anxious, but it’s hard not to be and then when I am anxious it’s like self condemnation for being anxious lol. Hopefully that makes sense. To add clarification, when I’m sad do I need to force myself to be joyful because I’m a Christian, do I need to stop self-doubt because I need to be confident in Christ? Is that attainable?!"

What's one boat that you can't sink?... A Friendship.

Frodo had Sam, Maverick had Goose, Han had Chewy... Friends are kinda influential in the direction our life takes. But what does the bible have to say about friendship and all the complexities that come with it?

Today's question comes in from a listener:

"How do you deal with friend difficulties? How do you stay intentional with godly friends in your life? How do you leave bad friendships?"

But before we respond to these questions, we have a laugh with our segment of the day: "Unfortunate Church Names"

So picture this... you're a runaway, minding your own business (which is watching sheep) in the middle of a desert, and a burning bush calls out to you.

Sounds like an episode of The Twilight Zone, right?

It happens daily, even hourly. Sin has a way of convincing us that it's "home" is in our daily life. But as a follower of Jesus, what does this mean for the sacrifice of Christ? Was that all in vain?

We're back! Your favorite podcast (at least we hope to be) trio makes a comeback to this puzzling question from a listener on Hebrews 10:26.

BEFORE that question, the gang shares a segment called:

"Rose & Thorns"
