Lights, Camera, Gold

In this episode, Rachael sticks with the world of competitive cheerleading when she delves into "Bring It On: All or Nothing", (2006), starring Hayden Panettiere and Solange Knowles-Smith, as well as a cameo appearance by Rihanna as herself. The third film in the "Bring It On" franchise is often considered the second-greatest "Bring It On" film by most critics after the original 2000 classic. However, it may have the best soundtrack of all the movies reviewed so far, with its lineup of Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, and one of the most popular pop-punk bands of the mid-2000s, the All-American Rejects. In the latest episode of "Lights, Camera, Gold", Rachael continues her look at the world of competitive cheerleading, with the first of five straight-to-dvd "Bring It On" sequels: "Bring It On Again" (2004). Rachael compares the two, and how the despite having the same producers as the original, "Bring It On Again" fails to stick its landing.

In this episode, Rachael delves into the movie that put cheerleading on the map, "Bring It On" (2000). Not only did "Bring It On" lead to FIVE straight-to-dvd sequels, it also spawned a Broadway musical, with music by one Lin-Manuel Miranda ("Hamilton"); and it has forever landed a place in the hearts of fans as one of the most beloved cult classics of the 20th century.

In the first episode of "Lights, Camera, Gold", Rachael delves into the Emmy-award winning Netflix docuseries "Cheer", which focuses on the Navarro College Bulldogs, as the Junior College squad from Corsicana, Texas aims for its 14th National Cheerleaders Association title in 2019. Rachael also professes her love for Navarro Head Coach Monica Aldama, and informs listeners of University Cheerleaders Association as well, the other- often forgotten about in pop culture- style of cheerleading.
