Finally the story of the tent that wanted to be a school got an ending that works. After 3 failed attempts ...

This story idea came from the mother of Eden . The start was ok but the ending up in the jungle was a bit too predictable.... Like the tent stories I will try again soon...

"Pumpkin’s Kitties is an adorable story about the relationship between a little girl and her pet kittens.

When Pumpkin’s Daddy brings home two cute cuddly kitties she is delighted and starts to play with them like toy dolls. As you can imagine, Pumpkin’s kitties don’t like being treated like toys and begin running away and hiding. While Pumpkin tries to “make” her kitties play with her again, she learns a lesson she’ll never forget.

Children will relate to the love Pumpkin has for her pet kitties and parents will enjoy watching their children learn how to use patience and gentle kindness when caring for animals.

Peter broke all the rules. But now he was making them for himself again. This series of 13 improvised short stories are based on Jordan B Peterson's 12 Rules for Life. I have had his book on my shelf for 6 months and have a high level of respect for the man. This is a fun way for me to make myself read each chapter and then try and improvise it into a bedtime story - one for each rule. This story is based on rule number 2 - Treat yourself like you are someone you are responsible for helping. Which I took to mean this - Being responsible for my child means I do what is right and not just what will make him happy. Sometimes the right thing is not enjoyable. We need to look after ourselves so that we may then look after others. But only if they want to be helped.
