What if freedom doesn’t always look like entrepreneurship? What if sometimes, for a conscious creative entrepreneur, it looks like clocking out and going home?
This week, I am joined by serial entrepreneur and wellness coach Tiffany Whipps for one of the most honest conversations about creative entrepreneurship, financial freedom, and building a life on your own terms that I have had on this show. We met eight years ago at a women entrepreneurs’ networking event in Portland when she had a table full of beautiful jewelry, and I could not walk past without stopping. Since then, she has built and closed a six-figure jewelry business, run boutiques and makers markets, launched a mobile bartending business, completed yoga teacher training along with health and wellness coaching certifications, and is now stepping into her next identity. She has lived every version of the entrepreneurial journey, and she is one of the most grounded voices I know on what creative freedom actually costs and what it actually gives you.
This conversation is for the woman who is questioning whether entrepreneurship is the right path, wondering if going back to a job means she failed, or trying to figure out what her north star really is beneath all the noise of what a successful entrepreneur is supposed to look like.
We talk about why daily income once felt like a prison and what that revealed about the true cost of creative entrepreneurship, how to identify your north star message before you build another business around the wrong thing, why entrepreneurial burnout is often your soul redirecting you not a sign of failure, the real relationship between money, freedom, and personality type, why a job can sometimes be the most freeing choice a creative entrepreneur makes, and what pivot instead of panic actually looks like in practice.
This is one of the most honest conversations out there about freedom, purpose, and choosing your hard.
