Listen as Certified Eternal Warrior Mentor Kim Davis (and mom of 8) teaches how the adversary uses smoke and mirrors to distract us and try to destroy our families. Kim opens up about the struggles in her life leading up to learning the Eternal Warrior principles that she says changed her life and marriage. She talks about her husband being diagnosed with a brain tumor, her and him reversing roles for 2 1/2 years, her sinking into a depression, blaming her husband for the trials in their life, feeling disconnected, shame, regret, anger, eating tons of sugar and yelling at her kids. Listen to Personal Warrior Trainer Adam Clark teach important skills on how to overcome battles pre-mission, during-mission, and post-mission. Adam leads a group called Sons of Mosiah, a simplified version of Sons of Helaman to help missionaries in the field provide support for each other. Satan only attacks those who are a threat to him. Adam explains that Satan uses comparison to others as a means to slow down our progress and keep us in his chains. In preparing for a mission the structure of MAN PWR daily goals is essential. For missionaries, flag pole drills will help them fight off Level 2 mood battles. Service is also a powerful way to stop mood battles in their tracks. Adam explains that battles can return with a vengeance for returned missionaries. The structure and the mantle of the mission is gone and Satan is ready to attack. Adam explains how important it is for RMs to continue to find ways to serve and volunteer. If they left as Generals, they can return to a Sons of Helaman group at no charge. This will help keep their armor intact. RMs who strategize and create a passion project immediately will help them to stay focused on God and keep their armor strong. “Once an addict always an addict” does not have to be true.
