Destin is 46yrs old, married, a father of 4 kids, and one of them currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shares his journey of addiction and finding hope through Christ with the Men of Moroni Program. He has been addicted to masterbation and occasionally pornography too since he was 15yrs old and didn't realize he was out of control until he could no longer feel the Spirit in his life. He found the Men of Moroni website and chose to call the number and started going to the meetings! He thought he was the only one with the same problem, but quickly found out that others struggle with the same addictions, he found brotherhood and healing as he continued in the program. He has now been clean for 157 days since he started the program!

He says when he has he wants to be with his kids, when he didn’t have the spirit and was not in recovery, he didn’t want to be around them so they wouldn’t draw on the negative energy he had. He is now able to enjoy being with them and finds himself having a better attitude too. Destin has never tried any other programs, Men of Moroni was the first program he has tried and it's working for him.

Jennifer and Andy are currently Eternal Warrior Mentors. They met in Jr High & just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They have 6 kids & 8 grandkids. The Sons of Helaman is a group of young men who have dedicated themselves to helping each other overcome unwanted pornography and/or masturbation addictions. In a “Knights of the Round Table” environment, they encourage and help their brethren in the fight against this demon that assails them. Led by a certified, licensed professional clinician, they practice and develop the warrior instincts that are required to conquer these addictions for the rest of their lives. They learn the strategies that the adversary will use against them, and are trained how to use the most powerful weapons known to science and spirituality to defeat him. Young men ages 14-28 should be considered for the program. Return missionaries who need extra training are also invited. This program is ideal for helping a young man prepare for his mission and/or temple marriage.

Erin, with her seminary teacher experience was still searching for life changing truth. She had a child who was struggling and God led her to Life Changing Services via their facebook page and decided that the Eternal Warriors program resonated with her so she joined! One of those tools they gave her was the GRL PWR calendar with the process to use in her own life. LCS has given her tools to awaken the warrior within her. Lynnette had a feeling something was wrong in her marriage, but she just felt like a "naggy wife." She confided in a good friend and was able to see that her husband had been involved in pornography addiction. Then 3 experiences with the scriptures, a temple experience, a blessing and some lessons later helped her to see the darkness she had been in and helped prepare her for what was about to happen next in her life.

The Lord had guided her in discovering her husband's addiction, she had felt guided to leave but she felt alone in her struggles, and was told to keep things quiet. She knew pornography was destroying her health, her kids, her testimony, the spirit in their home and now their marriage, but she knew she had to leave. Like the pioneers she knew, "I'm willing because I have to." She was taught that her story matters, from a trusted therapist. David is a Mentor & Trainer for LCS. Married, Teaches Music in SC & and has adopted 2 kids. Karen interviews April who has a son who's graduated from the Son's of Helaman Program from Life Changing Services (LCS), she has been married for 22yrs. We are grateful to have April as part of the team, who also edits audio & video for some LCS programs. Her son, as a 16 yr old young man who only had a flip phone, was still able to find ways to access pornography using sibling's devices and parent's computer which started his addiction. After discovering some questionable sites in the history on her computer, she and her husband talked with their son about the sites he'd been visiting and presented some helpful options after doing some research on how to help their son. He originally didn't want to be part of the Sons of Helaman program group meetings but after some coaxing, he agreed. He attended the program through online meetings. After 8 months of her son attending and her listening to Mother's Who Know recordings, April finally realized she needed to and could share her story and not feel shame. Her son was able to get the tools needed for recovery and as of the time of the recording he was serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Bryton is 22yrs old at the time this was recorded. He loves the outdoors and reading books like most boys. Served a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Washington Vancouver Mission from 2013-2015. The addiction to pornography started when he was 8yrs old. He approached his parents at about 10yrs old, was able to stop for a bit but at 13yrs old he was still struggling with living his 2 separate lives. Finally at 16yrs old they found help through the Son's of Helaman Program and was able to get help through what he calls a "Spiritual Boot Camp".

His mother has helped him fight by saying "goodnight my warrior" before bed and was such a strength. His father is his "battle buddy." In this Podcast learn some more tactics Bryton used to help him start his journey in recovery.
