Luke & Alana, leaders and coordinators of Men of Moroni, our self-mastery training program for LDS men, share their story of a 15yr marriage. Alana pregnant with their 5th child, found pornography on her husband's phone 7yrs after the first discovery. 7yrs ago they took a trip to their bishop and attended a few addiction recovery meetings but that was not enough to keep Luke from acting out down the road. The recent discovery led to a whole lot more disclosures from Luke, Luke living in a hotel to find his own way to recovery, and Alana finding healing on her own through the Atonement of Christ, while raising their 4 kids alone and pregnant. After finding the WORTH Group & Men of Moroni from Life Changing Services, they continued to learn more tools to first help heal themselves and then their marriage. Though their marriage was shattered by addiction, it was able to heal through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Hali, mother of 4 shares her story about going through challenging times with her husband and reached out to Life Changing Services for help. She went through counseling sessions, found tools through Eternal Warriors classes, was part of the WORTH group and was able to learn about what satan was trying to do to her as a woman, wife, mother and daughter of God. Being part of the WORTH group was hard and took a lot of courage to be part of it, but felt a huge sense of relief, comfort and healing once she decided to join. It gave her connection unlike anything she had ever had. It's not "husband bashing." She would never have asked for this trial but she'd never give them back because of what she has learned. Being part of Eternal Warriors program helped to give her tools for her family to use right now. Eternal Warrior's program helped teach her a "Warrior Prayer" to have a stronger connection with God. GRL PWR Goals has strengthened her and she continues to use the tools she has learned to strengthen her children and family. She is now an Eternal Warriors mentor! Karen Broadhead interviews a Warrior General, young man about 18yrs old, named Al. From Alabama, middle child, started struggling with pornography when he was 13 and arrived at Sons of Helaman Program around 14 after his Mother found LCS. Grateful for the Sons of Helaman program because it helped him out of isolation and to know he was not alone in this battle. Wanted to hide it and keep it a secret, but realized it was impossible to do it alone, the guys at group are there to support each other. Parents were genuine in wanting to help and be there for them. Mother is also part of the Mothers Who Know Program. Ecclesiastical leaders helped him by showing him love and the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Turning Points were in an interview with his Bishop for a Temple Recommend and then later on an interview with his Stake President to serve a Mission. Mother's support was so important and essential for him.

Karen Broadhead interviews Stephanie who shares what it's like to be a mother of a spiritual giant who struggled with an addiction to pornography at the age of 11. Her son's addiction started slow and then after several tries of meeting with local leaders and others who tried to help, Stephanie was out of ideas on how to help her son overcome this addiction. He started with feelings of isolation, separation from family and friends and then struggled with feelings of suicide. She and her husband were desperate to find anything that would help, her husband found an article of the Sons of Helaman program from LCS. Her son was skeptical but she was able to successfully "drag" her son there and for the first time he realized he was not alone, and was able to see that he was and still is a son of God, a spiritual giant. He learned something so critical about his battle against the adversary, with the help of Jesus Christ and skilled Clinicians from LCS he was able to start his recovery, was able to learn how to fight back and is overcoming his addiction and currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Karen Broadhead interviews MaryAnn Michaelis, who's participated in and now leads several of LCS' W.O.R.T.H. Groups. MaryAnn courageously shares her story and experience with betrayal trauma after finding out about her husband's addiction to pornography, while also experiencing infertility for many years. MaryAnn shares what has helped her, what helped her husband overcome depression by addressing his addiction, some useful resources and especially her hope in and through Christ.

MaryAnn has been working for WORTH and with women who have experienced betrayal trauma since 2015, shortly after beginning her own betrayal trauma healing journey. As she listened to hundreds of your stories and got to know many of you, her passion for helping women to find hope, personal power and healing was kindled. This prompted her to pursue a Masters Degree in clinical Social Work. In January 2018, MaryAnn began interning in and now leads several of our WORTH groups, and she will graduate in the spring of 2019. Along with her schooling, she is engaged in extensive advocacy work, and betrayal trauma research and training.

Rodney Limb, grew up in a faithful home with parents who have strong testimonies of The Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, he served a mission in Nova Scotia Canada, joined military reserves. Married with 8 children. He was led and guided to become a counselor and has been counseling for over 25yrs. Worked in prison part-time for 8yrs with sex offenders, also worked in a private practice and worked with victims of sexual abuse and suicide intervention. Successfully helped people to overcome various addictions like sexual addiction, addiction to drug and alcohol, pornography, PTSD, anxiety and self-abuse through various methods of treatments and therapy.

A client asked him about the "Sons of Helaman" program and really loved it after looking into it. He's been with the Sons of Helaman now for 2yrs. Loves to see progress in young men as he helps guide them from hopeless to hopeful while they each share their experiences and how they are overcoming their addictions. He loves to see the light return!
