Lil' Smart Bee is a stingless bee that lives in Guatemala. One day Lil' Smart Bee has an encounter with a rather arrogant honeybee. Together they discuss what it means to be a bee and discover the value of diversity.


The Smart Bee project is developing  resources that teach about native bee diversity as part of the iDigbees.org project.  iDigBees is sponsored by the Biodiversity Outreach Network and the National Science Foundation in partnership with FLAAR Mesoamerica (Foundation for Latin American Anthropological Research), Mayantoons  and  Eco-Cast productions.
