Limping For Jesus

In today’s episode, Pastor Mike revisits verse 6 in chapter 1. What does this ongoing work of becoming more like Christ look like? Who starts our journey of faith and promised to see it through? Divorce sucks! It’s one of the most hurtful trials anyone can face. Often, Christians tend to drop the ball with those going through a divorce. Sharing from his experience of freshly going through the separation and divorce process, Pastor Mike takes us to the book of Job and teaches about how to be a good friend to the hurting. Good theology plus bad timing hurts the hurting. Sit down and listen to a mature brother in the faith’s experience of divorce. In this very personal episode, Pastor Mike recalls the time his wife experienced a miscarriage. It was one of the hardest things they experienced as a couple. In this grief, there is hope for parents who have experienced this difficult loss. The Bible does not tell us how old our babies will be, but it’s clear that when we get to Heaven, they will be there waiting for us. This episode is in honor of all those couples that have experienced miscarriage or infant loss.
