Lina Jones DiamondNetwork Show

What's up Diamonds,

It's obvious I am not here tonight but I have a special treat for you it is an interview with the queen of spook Maria Olsen an acquaintance of Comedian Brian T Shirley. Nowadays Brian has been on some serious acting gigs as a matter a fact I saw a skit from his film "The Senator" where I think he plays a racist politician (sounds familiar) hopefully it just seems that way. I am not really sure what the film is all about but I will soon.

I hope you enjoy this interview I do miss him sometimes he was a delight to work with .... good luck on your acting career Brian. I will be returning Tuesday morning live for the LJ Morning Sparkle (music show).  I am always looking for guest if you have a talent or business and would like to be a guest on my show just email me it's easy and its free send your email to [email protected].

What's up Diamonds,

Today is #throwbackthursday I like this day because I get to post (you hear me) post different era of fashion that I find attractive unfortunately I don't have the type of wardrobe where I have all the different styles but I can post and live vicariously through my postings. This week I am going to the 1940's where for me the clothing for women represented strength, femininity, and beauty. The makeup says yes I am beautiful but don't mess with me, did you know it was recognized as 2nd wave of women movement, for men, it was the zoot suit era baggy legs and bright colors.

It was during an error when marriages where quick due to world war II and dear John letters were sent on a regular from women not wanting to wait around and a time when the US was just coming out of a depression. Most importantly it was the year of the Pearl Harbor attack if you haven't seen the movie you should cause you gotta know where you came from to know where you are going.

Well I don't have 40's music that's for sure but join me anyway for some pretty descent Independent Artist music today at 9AM. EST, 8AM CST, and 4AM PST (if you're an early riser)

If you miss it no problem catch me on podcast at any of these internet radio websites: iTunes http://apple.co/1L4bqKk, Spreaker http://spreaker.com/user/linajones and (Spreaker Alexa, YouTube https://goo.gl/zBXkNf

What’s up Diamonds,

Welcome spring! It was so good to see the flowers blooming cherry blossoms blooming on the trees and everyone in bright beautiful colors for the spring I hope you are enjoying your spring weather and hope you had a fabulous Easter Sunday I am certainly enjoying mine I love the sunshine.

We are now in the 4 months of a new April in 2018  this is the month of awareness for me that means being aware of things I don't fully understand maybe this is the month to find it out.  For some folks that can be difficult I know because I've been there, for instance, did you know that being more aware can help you make better choices in life? Yep, it can, it can also break down fear barriers which can help you physically grow.  Monday's show is about Easter I know it will be a day late but it’s closer to Easter today than it would have been last Monday. I have a treat for you it is my Memory Monday well back in 2016 I did an interview with Ashley Jay who had just moved to California she was so excited we had a nice interview so I'm going to play that for you on Monday night.  Also we have a brand new episode of the Mini's this time we had Miss. Monique talks about the Easter bunny what do you think those kids had to say? Do you think they believe in the Easter bunny? Find out join me live Monday night and find out what said and listen to my interview with Ashley J take a stroll down memory lane I’ve got some good stuff make sure to check out the website for April updates.

Congratulations again to Cosmic Crash a.k.a. Danny Meyers who won the LJ 2017 DiamondNetwork Music Awards his package is being sent to him as we speak. well, I’ve got for now until Monday night happy Easter and I will see you on a network.

It is supposed to rain in Chesapeake this weekend and we all know that rain makes for good sleep weather. But before I do that I must pump it up for the end of the #Diamond week! Majority of you will be up and about all weekend but for some independent business owners, the beginning of the new month usually means more work than during the month. This Friday morning jam is dedicated to you! For all of us that have to get their game face on at the beginning of each month, I say #kudos to us and all that we do we survived another month in 2018!.

Join me as  I celebrate the end of the month with some #keeponpushin music before my weekend #worknap session :-) remember if you missed an episode you can listen to podcast at any of this internet radio sites RssFeed, iTunes, Speaker and Spreaker Alexa, YouTube and right here on BlogTalk  time to say bye-bye to March and another anniversary month make sure you've stopped by to check out the ljdnshow's website, see you on the network.

What's up Diamonds,

Do you have your throwback couture ready for today? I am still in my 1920's era I do love the style in women's clothing and all the men are dressed like playboys it was the age of the #forbidden, alcohol was forbidden, interracial marriages were forbidden, women's rights forbidden, so much going on no wonder they call it the #roaring20s. It was such an exciting era kind of like what we are going through today with so many things changing. Face it #Diamonds we are not in la la land anymore this right here... is the real deal.

Join me this morning for good music and good fun! I will see you in the networks.
