Love the football, hate bastards.

It wouldn't be a summer without the football, and we here at LTTC are here to bring you an in depth look at the tournament before it starts on June 10. To do so we have brought on board friend of the show (and walking football encyclopedia) Jack Layzell. This first part of the show covers groups A, B, and C with a couple of the tournament's heavy hitters. And England too, weeeyyy.

*Mark discusses the Ratchet & Clank game based on the movie based on the game.

* The CoD vs. Battlefield internet garbage fire.

*The Uncharted 4 review "controversy"

*The return of Konami Korner (Dun-Dun-Duuunnnnn)

We also have all the gaming news of the week, and our book club for this episode looks back at the FPS that reinvented the wheel- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Aloha internet!

It's been a whiiiile.....

Welcome back for a brand spanking new edition of Link To The Cast! On this week's show

*Brian is still hanging with yer boy T-Clance in The Division

*Mark is so utterly, hopelessly lost in Stardew Valley addiction.

*Is Quantum Break an early shout for Best 7/10 Game Of The Year? Dave reckons so.

*Plus all this week's gaming news and views.

Our LTTC Book Club this week is a very special one for Dave. It's the first game he ever played (as a child waaaaaay too young to have done so), and it is largely to blame for his love of gaming that endures to this day: id Software's iconic DOOM.

It's a podcast Jim, but not as you know it.

The lads are off on a trip to Dallas next week to the Mecca of the pro graps, and rather than maintain radio silence, we thought we'd try something a little different, setting the video games aside briefly, and have a look forward to the trip. Joining us for this show are the dulcet tones of debuting guests and all around FINE MEN Eamonn Dalton and Barry Murphy. On the show, we have a look at:

what possessed us to go

Ribs for breakfast and selfies with Russ Haas.

NXT, featuring the goddamned drifter.

ROH, featuring no one Eamo's ever heard of

Wrestlecon, featuring sadness and the past/

and Wrestlemania itself, I suppose.

We'll be back after our trip with a quick road report and then back to business as usual, so hopefully you all enjoy this very different episode.

A wild podcast appeared!

In the midst of a flurry of streams, Link To The Cast has returned to you with grand tidings. This week we sail the good ship Podcast without Brian, but worry not, as we still have much to discuss:

*Is there any cure to the Pokémon sickness that has washed over Mark?

*Hitting stuff with other stuff in UFC 2

*Is Yo-Kai watch the new Pokémon?

*How bad is Dave at covertly assassinating people?

A review of a regional St. Patrick's Day Parade by Mark.

In addition to all this, we bring you through the big news from the world of gaming this week, and a book club that takes a closer look at one of the defining games in the history of first person shooters: Goldeneye 007 on Nintendo 64.
