Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Orlandina Balan, Class of 1995. Orlandina is the owner and founder of The Fitter Woman, a Holistic Health and Wellness Company. She believes in finding one’s health via the mind, body and spirit. She has been an educator for 20+ years, a professional women’s physique athlete in the IFBB and is certified as an integrative nutrition health coach.

Jonathan Salazar re-enrolled at the College in 2016 and realized going to school will be his full-time job. He served as the President of the Marketing Club. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with top honors, receiving 10 scholarships and the SUNY Chancellors Award, and was admitted to NYU. He is an Associate Media Planner for GROUPM, which is a billion-dollar company.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Katherine Margaritis, NCC Class of 2013. She is now a professional photographer, aspiring singer/songwriter, and other freelance work in the entertainment field.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Katie Stewart, NCC Class of 1982. She is a kindergarten teacher in Levittown, and has been teaching for over 35 years. She was also an ordained Eucharistic Minister while on campus!

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Roxana Velardi, NCC Class of 1982. Roxana went to St. John’s University after Nassau, in the education program of Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped. She pursued Speech and Language Pathology and received her Master’s in Speech and Language from Adelphi University. She has been a speech pathologist for the Uniondale School District for the past 15 years.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with “Addie” Blanco-Harvey, who has lived in the Uniondale community for over 35 years. Class of 2006, she serves as a public relations coordinator and office manager for the past 17 years. She is an advocate for children, serving as a mentor and a member of Comite Civico Salvadoreno for 9 years.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Glynis Boone Andrews, NCC Class of 1977. Glynis is retired, and is currently self-employed as the owner of her own shipping and packaging company in Chesapeake, VA. She has an Associate’s Degree in Retail Business. Management, and is also a notary!

She left NCC and earned her BA in Film Production at Hofstra University, and an MBA from LIU Post. She is also host of The Party Mix on WHPC!
