John Guandolo is a 1989 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who took a commission as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a combat diver, military free-fall parachutist, and a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School. He served as a guest lecturer at the Joint Forces Staff College and at the U.S. Army War College.   

In 2006, he was designated a “Subject Matter Expert” by FBI Headquarters and created and implemented the FBI’s first Counterterrorism Training Program focused on the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic Doctrine, and the global Islamic Movement.

John Guandolo is also a Knight in the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, Ecumenical Order (Knights of Malta).

Retired American Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin joined Lions Awaken and shared a military perspective on how to identify and neutralize America’s biggest domestic threat. General Boykin highlights how vital moral courage is in taking down this enemy. Do you understand the threat? 

General Boykin was the United States Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence under President George W. Bush from 2002 to 2007. He was one of the original members of the US Army's Delta Force and during his 36-year career was involved in numerous high-profile missions, including the 1980 Iran hostage rescue attempt, the 1992 hunt for Pablo Escobar in Colombia, and the Black Hawk Down incident in Mogadishu, Somalia.  He is an author of many books and since 2012, has served as the Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council.  Today General Boykin is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become Warriors in God's Kingdom.
