Hello Groovers,

This is the Sooper Dooper Music Mega Mix DJ Set I played at the Manuka Pool Party last Saturday. More hot weather music, and the Manuka Pool Party was a great way to cool down and chill out.

We'll be back at Manuka Pool on February 17th!

Liquid Sunshine is a weekly radio show in Canberra, Australia, playing the best Deep Funk, Rare Groove, Disco, Beats - All The Good Stuff. We also re-edit, DJ out in the wild, and produce mighty boss tunes.

Good times!

Super hot weather asks for a super cool Yacht Rock breeze.

Australia has been overwhelmed by incredible hot wheather, temperatures in the mid 40s. It's to hot to dance, so we're pgoing to focus on songs with lots of melody rather than beat. Expect to whistle loudly!

Camembert!

This is Part 2 of Liquid Sunshine's focus on French Touch.

French house is a style of house music originally produced by French artists, a popular strand of the late 1990s and 2000s European dance music scene and a form of Euro disco. It is greatly influenced by the lineage of American dance music from the emergence of disco onwards, maintaining a distinct connection to Euro disco and the short lived space disco music style. It is also known as "French touch", "filter house" and "tekfunk".

Hello Groovers, welcome to 2019 and happy New Year from the funkiest Sunshine on the internets.

What an incredible year it has been for Liquid Sunshine and thank you all so much for all your support, follows, subscriptions, and thank you for joining me at all the amazing Liquid Sunshine events.

I had a dream of taking the Funk to the people, and last year I created Liquid Sunshine, a sound system to show all the good stuff to the world. And it has been amazing to see how many of you have tuned into the sound system and are loving the deep funk, rare groove, disco, beats - all the good stuff!! With your support Liquid Sunshine has grown from an idea into a radio show, a podcast, DJs, and Dirty Disco events.

Thank you to 2xx fm, for supporting the Sunshine and allowing it to grow.

Super special thank you to Superbreak, Kosta Ellis and John Mimellis, for getting behind the funk, joining me in the studio, supporting me at the RUC and getting the Dirty Disco together.

Big thanks to Carl Cox, Marcel Vogel, Josh Tonna, Mark Mallet, DJ Bobo and many more for letting me interview them and sharing their favourite funk choones.

Many thanks too Sam Tingey, Liam Ryan, Nigel Gentry, Benjamin Reeve, Sam Gilmour, Ash Bradey for coming out and playing awesome funk at the RUC.

Massive thanks to Jeremy Wilcox for allowing the Sun to Shine and supporting us at the RUC!!!!

The last Liquid Sunshine show is a great retrospective of my most played songs in 2018. It is now up for your listening pleasure, and you can stream it here: Spotify

Finally, at Liquid Sunshine we are taking a break and take it easy in the hot summer sun. We will be spinning choones for the next 3 weeks at the beach. Life’s good!!
