Ben O'Shea popped in to share his thoughts on the new Russell Crowe film Nuremberg  and according to Ben, Crowe is in career-best form. Directed by James Vanderbilt, based on Jack El-Hai’s 2013 book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist. The film follows U.S. Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) as he investigates the minds and monitors the mental states of Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) and other high-ranking Nazis ahead of the Nuremberg trials. Ben did mention it runs a bit long but was it worth the extra minutes? It’s that time of the week! Lisa & Russell cracked open the Book of Records to find out who’s hosting the biggest family Christmas do and this week, Paul from Joondalup took out the crown.

And how did Russell’s lesson go yesterday? Surprisingly well. He spent the session learning a handful of Spanish golf taunts to use on Lisa out on the golf course. But don’t worry they’re all perfectly wholesome. His teacher Liliana refused to teach him anything even remotely naughty, so every “taunt” is really just an enthusiastic, slightly dramatic pep talk. Expect plenty of “¡Vamos, Lisa!” on the fairway today.

Lisa’s golf instructor, Jess Speechley, phoned in for a catch-up with Lisa & Russell and there were updates. Russell wanted the truth about how Lisa’s golf is really going, and Jess did not hold back. The big news? After weeks of patience and practice, Jess finally let Lisa use a driver yesterday… all in preparation for today’s big golf day with Lisa, Russell & Barra. Will the driver debut be a triumph or a catastrophe? Barra stopped by to chat with Lisa & Russell ahead of the second leg of The Ashes, and things got very educational. Lisa had a few burning cricket questions - starting with the big one: what on earth is a Day–Night Test?
