As Clairsy’s farewell week rolled on, radio legend and the guy who kicked it all off for 96FM, Gary Roberts popped in to say goodbye. Clairsy shared memories of their first meeting and how Gary ended up hiring him years later. When asked if he missed radio, Gary said it was the people he missed most. He also had a listen to some of Clairsy’s very first airchecks and gave his thoughts.

Brian Mannix phoned in to chat with Clairsy and Lisa, reminiscing with Clairsy about their time working together. Lisa cheekily asked if Clairsy was eating as much back then, and Brian talked about self-publishing his book and enjoying the Gold Coast lifestyle.

Elliot joined the guys and it was a sad one, as he said farewell to Clairsy after 4 and half years on air together. On to sport, he reflected on the weekend’s game, saying it was good for the majority but they couldn’t win the arm wrestle. Lisa asked what Jeremy McGovern said to the team during his pep talk, and Elliot admitted it was probably very colourful. When askes about potential Clairsy replacements, Elliot jokingly put his hand up to replace Clairsy.

Clairsy made a huge announcement... He's Leaving. NOOOOO. Barra joined the guys to talk about the weekend’s footy, and the guys chatted about the Avon Descent, asking listeners what gave them an adrenaline rush. On The Shaw Report, Sharon Stone said she wanted to play Phyllis Diller in a biopic, and Emma Thompson reflected on the time Donald Trump asked her out.

Barra joined Clairsy & Lisa to chat all things sport, starting with a trip down memory lane to some of his favourite Clairsy moments. All eyes were on the Freo game against Port Adelaide on Saturday night, where Port fans weren’t happy after Patrick Voss silenced the crowd. Barra reckoned Murphy Reid should win the Rising Star award, and Alex Pearce compared Voss to Hayden Ballantyne. Fyfey was there too and even stripped off.  In Eagles news, yesterday’s game paid tribute to Dom Sheed and Jeremy McGovern, with Gov delivering the pre-game address. Coach Andrew McQualter revealed what was said, and it was surprising. And in the Avon Descent, it was big water all the way.
