After two weeks off, Clairsy & Lisa are back and wow, there was a lot to catch up on! Barra was full of energy, jumping straight into the big sporting wins over the weekend. Freo knocked off Collingwood at the ‘G, the West Coast Fever dominated in the netball, and our boy Hayden Young was back on the field doing what he does best. Not such great news for the Eagles, but they prevail. Hayden Young joined Smiley and Barra in the studio to chat footy and his upcoming return after 66 days on the sidelines, he's feeling better than expected and keen to make a strong comeback this weekend. He’s eager to perform and was inspired by the impressive returns of Jaeger O’Meara and Sam Switkowski over the weekend. Barra described Freo’s win over Hawthorn as one of the club’s best ever, highlighting the record number of tackles and the high stress levels in the coaches’ box. They also touched on Andy Brayshaw splitting his head open twice during the game, with Hayden calling him seriously tough. Now, all eyes are on the Dockers’ big clash against Collingwood this weekend.

West Coast Eagles star Elliot Yeo stopped by for a lively chat with Smiley and our resident sports nut Adrian ‘Barra’ Barich and it didn’t disappoint! Barra kicked things off by getting Elliot’s take on Jack Graham’s four-match suspension, before praising the exciting form of Harley Reid, who's quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. Would Elliot have taunted Jason Horne-Francis? Plus, Elliot admitted to some frustration with the team’s current form, showing just how much the boys want to turn things around.

First up, the Dockers rose for Sonny Walters in front of a strong 50,000-strong crowd in what felt like a historic turning point for the club, something has definitely shifted, something’s clicked. With Hayden Young set to return, all eyes are now on their big clash against Collingwood this Sunday. Do they have a chance? Barra thinks it's on. The Eagles showed promise, playing great footy for three quarters, but still couldn’t quite put together the full four. In a shock move, Tim Kelly’s been dropped for West Coast’s game against Port. And, rumours swirl about Gout Gout performing at the AFL Grand Final. Meanwhile, Queensland clinch the State of Origin, Wimbledon finals hit this weekend, and the West Coast Fever keep their winning streak alive.

Film guru Ben O’Shea joined the show to discuss the latest superhero blockbuster, Superman. Smiley asked, “Was David Corenswet convincing as the new Man of Steel?” Maybe not as impressive a specimen, but yes.  The film is fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Nicholas Hoult is great as Lex Luthor, possibly the best since Gene Hackman, but the two real scene-stealers might come as a surprise.  Director James Gunn, the creative force behind the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, brings a loving and thoughtful approach to this film.
