West Coast Eagles star Elliot Yeo stopped by for a lively chat with Smiley and our resident sports nut Adrian ‘Barra’ Barich and it didn’t disappoint! Barra kicked things off by getting Elliot’s take on Jack Graham’s four-match suspension, before praising the exciting form of Harley Reid, who's quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. Would Elliot have taunted Jason Horne-Francis? Plus, Elliot admitted to some frustration with the team’s current form, showing just how much the boys want to turn things around.

First up, the Dockers rose for Sonny Walters in front of a strong 50,000-strong crowd in what felt like a historic turning point for the club, something has definitely shifted, something’s clicked. With Hayden Young set to return, all eyes are now on their big clash against Collingwood this Sunday. Do they have a chance? Barra thinks it's on. The Eagles showed promise, playing great footy for three quarters, but still couldn’t quite put together the full four. Off-field, Barra had a laugh about getting lip readers involved in on-ground banter after recent controversies. Wimbledon is wrapped up, and the West Coast Fever continue their winning streak.

A huge clash tomorrow as the Dockers face the Hawks,  a win draws them level. Hayden Young remains out, Caleb Serong could be tagged again, and Justin Longmuir’s over the off-field drama. In a shock move, Tim Kelly’s been dropped for West Coast’s game against Port. And, rumours swirl about Gout Gout performing at the AFL Grand Final. Film guru Ben O’Shea joined the show to discuss the latest superhero blockbuster, Superman. Smiley asked, “Was David Corenswet convincing as the new Man of Steel?” Maybe not as impressive a specimen, but yes.  The film is fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Nicholas Hoult is great as Lex Luthor, possibly the best since Gene Hackman, but the two real scene-stealers might come as a surprise.  Director James Gunn, the creative force behind the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, brings a loving and thoughtful approach to this film. Hayden popped in for a chat with Smiley and Barra this morning where they chatted about Hayden’s rehab, he’s almost back on the field and strength numbers have never been better. Elliot Yeo joined Barra this morning where they chatted about the progress of his slow recovery from injury and what he is made to do by the club during the games when he's not playing. Barra asked him if he's sick of people asking when he's coming back to play and he gave his thoughts on new players Jobe Shanahan and Malakai Champion. Barra then moved on to Dom Sheed's retirement and got Elliot's reaction to the news and with the news that AFL State of Origin is getting closer to reality, Elliot gave Barra his controversial theory on how it should be played out.

Barra joined Smiley this morning after a massive weekend in sport including West Coast Fever making the Grand Final after 11 straight wins, a bad weekend for the Eagles and the Dockers however Barra was singing the praises of Freo's Murphy Reid, plus he had another of those passionate Carlton fans calling another radio station and giving his team a very honest character assessment. As well as that Matilda's game in Bunbury where 10,000 fans turned up, Lando Norris wins the British GP and all the latest action in the cricket and at Wimbeldon.

Lisa finally got to try the social media craze ‘Dubai Chocolate’ and thoughts were had. The guys took calls and texts on the time you accidentally injured someone. Lisa had all the latest news on The Shaw Report - Quentin Tarantino favourite Michael Madsen died at the age of 67 and Ringo Starr has notes. The Beatles drummer went head-to-head with Sam Mendes asking for two-days’ worth of revisions to his life story for an upcoming biopic. Drum roll please; the Oasis World Tour finally kicks off.  Barra popped in to chat about two massive AFL retirements, iconic sporting names, how to pronounce Wimbledon and more. And local musical theatre star Taneel Van Zyl came in for a chat ahead of her performance in Mamma Mia!

Barra joined the guys to chat all things sport, and it’s been a massive week for retirements in footy. First up, the hero of the Eagle 2018 premiership Dom Sheed retired earlier in the week and then Dockers fan favourite Sonny Walters hung up his boots just yesterday. In classic Barra style he was full of facts - did you know Sonny, Chris Yarran and Nick Nat all grew up on the same street? The Eagle’s eighth debutante Malakai Champion played his first game, which lead the guys to discuss the great sporting names – Tiger Woods, anyone? Barra reckons The Eagles could win this weekend and the guys don’t seem sold on the idea. Wimbledon top seeds are losing in droves and West Coast Fever aim for another win this weekend. Plus, Barra pays respect to Eileen Bond, a huge WAFL fan and supporter of South Fremantle.
