Welcome to Episode 26 of the Listen Buddy Podcast!

In today's episode, which was filmed on 5/8, we are going over all of the diss tracks that both Kendrick Lamar and Drake dropped the weekend of 5/3. Ashwin and Humza were in Costa Rica that weekend so the gang had to wait for them to come back before we could break down all of the tracks. We first do a small recap of their Costa Rica trip. From there, we dive deep into each diss track, starting with "6:16 in LA" from Kendrick and going all the way to "The Heart Part 6" from Drake, and everything in between. This will go down in rap history as one of the most historic rap beefs just based on the 2 artists involved and the frequency at which the music was being dropped. The real winners in all of this are the fans, who got great music from both artists.

There has been a lot of speculation around whether Kendrick would respond after Drake dropped Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle. Now that he decided to drop on a random Tuesday at 8:24 am (RIP Kobe) just like your unemployed friend, we will see if the track is a worthy response to the shots that Drake has sent Lamar's way.
